Tunnel Wood Burning Fireplace

A stunning project we were lucky to assist with, involving liaisons with the surrounding joinery company to ensure their design complied with regulations and would ultimately suit the Kalfire W105T wood burning fireplace. A complete freestanding framework was manufactured around the fireplace to accommodate the recessed television, and open flue to roof termination. As the flue existing the property would be visible to the residents, a bespoke steel roof plate was created to finish the overall look. As the property is extremely exposed to the elements, we also installed a storm cowl instead of the standard rain cap, to add extra protection.
