BEV TECHNOLOGY™ (BURNING ETHANOL VAPOURS)
At the beginning, the Planika collection consisted mainly of manual and semi-automatic ethanol fireplaces. However, as experience grew, Planika decided to create a brand new technology, which would allow its users to enjoy their products in even safer manner. Today it is know as BEV Technology™, which stands for Burning Ethanol Vapour. This system uses the fuel inside the tank, heats it up and turns it into vapour, which is later ignited above the burner. This way, the heating process doesn’t generate smoke, ash, soot or any unpleasant smell, as well as doesn’t require the installation of chimney or flue as long as it has a free access to the oxygen. The fireplace is fully automated and equipped with a microprocessor, which allows you to monitor every step of the burning process and eliminate any human error that might occur.

SAFETY ALERTS
We developed our fireplaces based on a technology and structure which provide the highest level of safety for its users. This meant considering every possibility of a human error that could occur during the heating or refilling process.
To make sure our fireplaces are safe to use in every conditions, we equipped them with multiple safety sensors. This way, any possible malfunctions can be effectively identified. In case an error is detected, the sensors send a signal to the microprocessor to turn off the device. The user is additionally warned with a sound signals and an information sent out to their mobile app.

AUTOMATIC FUEL PUMP
The Automatic Refill System, makes the refuelling effortless and efficient, eliminating any problem which may occur during manual refilling. The dedicated pump – when connected – automatically fills up the tank with a bioethanol fuel. Once the tank is completely filled, the sensor alerts the microprocessor to stop the process. The level of fuel can be checked in the mobile app at any moment. This way, the risk of overfilling and fuel spillage have been successfully eliminated.
